The Science Information Bureau is the instrument to coordinate the development of Science and Society Program within the 4th Regional Plan for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (PRICIT). The Science Information Bureau pretends to play an important role in the interaction between science and society by promoting scientific culture among citizens.
Main Objetive
Its main objective is to encourage public debate about science and technology, improving access to information and foster specialized counselling and citizen participation in science and technology.

Capacities and addresses
The Science Information Bureau has a long experience since 2000 through the management of the Science and Society Program. It involves the resources of the Madrid universities, research centres and museums of science.
The Bureau addresses its services to students, teachers, researchers scientists, technicians, journalists and also to the general public in an effort to bring closer science to citizens fostering the cooperation and looking for consensus in the decision making.
