The Office for the Coordination of Research Infrastructures is a Program of the Regional Plan of Science in Madrid Community. By this program we managed the Network of Laboratories and other Technological Centres. The Net is an example of good practices. It’s synergic with other Programs, takes care of the research necessities, and support initiatives to introduce quality management criteria in the services of laboratories, infrastructures and research groups.

 Increase the interaction between public research centers and private companies Provide tools to the General Direction of Universities and Research to manage the existing research infrastructures in the Madrid region Provide a global approach to different knowledge networks and innovation agents, like the Telematic Research Network of Madrid (REDIMadrid) and the libraries of the public universities of the Community of Madrid (that form the Madroño Partnership), Universities, Public Research Organizations and technological and scientific parks |
Services |
We help to implement and introduce quality management systems in laboratories, groups, centers and research institutes We facilitate assistance in the following subjects: Quality Management in Research Laboratories, Quality Management in Research Activities, Certification and Accreditation of Laboratories and Research Centers We promote diffusion on operative infrastructures to researchers and private companies We help private companies in Madrid and other regions of Spain and the UE to find suitable laboratories and research facilities We offer specific formation for human resources who works in laboratories and research centers OCIDI provide training, solutions, commercial relation, and contacts with the clients (universities, independent research, companies, public institutions, others organizations) |

The resources assigned to the OCIDI have the experience of several years in management of Laboratories and Technological Centers located in Madrid and Spain.
In this way OCIDI it’s a practical structure for activities of support the R&D and innovation. It’s a excellent frame to make lines of common work and formation between programs and economic agents with technological necessities.
The Office also counts on the collaboration of experts of the Laboratories Network to solve specific questions.
