Network Monitoring
Link state and link traffic level statistics are fetched and continuously recorded in order to support network control and ease management tasks. MRTG obtains via SNMP the IP traffic data, and makes them available on a web interface covering 32 hours and generating daily, weekly and monthly statistics. As a complement, the NMIS application allows the collection of additional information, such as response times, memory consumption, and availability. This tool can be used to manage alerts derived from network state logs.
