Technology Audit

There are two objectives in the technology audit:

  1. To help the company to identify their technological needs and opportunities.
  2. To help the IRC to define the most appropriate services for the company.

There are five stages in the technology audit:

  1. Information on the company: Year of foundation, number of employees, number of patents, projects (national or European), etc.
  2. Strengths and weaknesses:Analysis of the company position in the market that helps the IRC to define the company's innovation needs.
  3. Vision: Where does the company want to be in the forcoming 5 or 10 years?
  4. Strategy: Definition of the strategy for attaining objectives and its planned stages.
  5. Action plan: Definition between the company and the IRC of an action plan for attaining the set objectives.

The technology audit has two levels:

  1. Half day with the general manager or the R&D manager.
  2. Two-day workload with the management team.
