| Telematic Research Network of madrid |
The Government of the Community of Madrid, and in particular, its General Directorate of Research and Universities, has founded one of the most technologically advanced research networks in Europe: REDIMadrid (Red Telemática de Investigación de Madrid). For this purpose, La Fundación Madri+d para el Conocimiento has been appointed as the institution in charge of the deployment, management and development of the network. |

| European Research Area (ERA) |
The ERA Office entails two seats: Madrid and Brussels. The madri+d Delegation in Brussels is part of the Regional Representation Office of Madrid towards the EU. One of its main objectives is to bring the different organizations involved in RTD and innovation in the region of Madrid closer to the EU programmes that can be of interest to them. The madri+d Delegation promotes and facilitates their participation in EU-funded programmes. |

This section offers DGUI’s announcements for Research and Development grant-aids calls (aids directed to obtain Personal Researcher Contract and Research and Development Activities Program, Research and Development lines support and briefs stays in Spanish and foreign centres), resolutions and research awards. |

The "Oficina del Emprendedor de Base Tecnológica madri+d" is the instrument of the Regional Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Plan of Comunidad de Madrid designed to germinate technology-based business ideas and convert them into new, solid technological business firms. |

| Technology Transfer |
The Centros de Enlace para la Innovación (Innovation Relay Centres -IRC-) are a network of offices specialised in technology transfer, joint financed by the European Union through its Innovation Program. The network covers two hundred European regions and is made up of over fifty independent organisations of the members states and associates of the EU. |

The technology marketplace is a service that facilitates innovation transfer by
means of setting comunication tools among the existing technology offer and
demand from research institutions and enterprises. |

| Club mi+d |
Madri+d System due to the celebration of its 10º anniversary has created the "Club madri+d". It is a space of cooperation directed to stimulate the technological development, to approach the results of research from the research public centers and companies in order to improve the image of the Community of Madrid as an international node in science and technology. |

The Science and Society Program is one of the action lines within the Regional Plan of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation (PRICIT). Its main objective is the promotion of a public debate on science and technology, by improving access to information and stimulating specialized advice. It also backs the taking part of citizens in science and technology issues. |

Madrid Science Fair is one of the main projects in Spain to increase the public awareness of science. Madrid Science Fair was born in 2000 inside the Science and Society Programme launched in the Research Regional Plan. Madrid Science Fair is a project to approach science to the general public. |
| Madrid Science Week |
Madrid Science Week. It´s held every year during November. The Science Week tries to spread the results of scientific researches by opening the scientific spaces normally closed to visitors. Its main aim is to stimulate the knowledge of science and technology among citizens. It offers more that 500 free activities addressed to all citizens without distinction based on age, gender, level of scientific training, or social category. |

This Section shows a wide range of audiovisual materials made up by mi+d system. This site displays different videos of workshops, exhibitions, lectures…, interviews with scientists,… It also has an open science archive made by participants. |
| Photos mi+d |
mi+d system organizes a photo contest since 2005. The prizes reward the quality and excellence of the photos. Through this action it is shown the presence of science in our daily life and it contributes to popularize science among citizens. |
| Books and Exhibitions |
This section includes different sections such as reviews of essays, novels, and exhibition. It also has an appealing section called “Personal readings”, where researchers tell us about their favourite readings, writers and scientific books. Finally, the section Poetry and Science, offers us an interesting group of poems carefully selected. |

mi+d publishes a weekly interview with the most important researchers working in Madrid. Through this section we can see what are they doing and where, people involved, their expectations and the breakthroughs they make. |
