The madri+d Foundation for Knowledge, aware of the important public service mission it has been entrusted with, considers quality to be a key factor when performing their duties. In that sense, the Foundation directs all its efforts towards continuous improvement of their services with a process-based management, guidance for those who make use of the service, and the results, within the development of the framework for innovation and learning.
Within this framework, the Foundation has implemented a Quality Management System based on the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2008 Standard requirements. It has furthermore defined a quality policy, with a mission, vision and values framework, which is part of its general guidelines. Therefore it is applicable throughout the whole organization.
The Foundation carries out this policy in its daily work by:
- Internal Quality Management System (IQMS): It directs, organises and connects the different processes implemented by the Foundation. These are certified in compliance with the international quality management standard UNE-ISO 9001:2008.
- Code of Ethics: It sets out the commitments of the Foundation's staff and those professionals acting on its behalf.
- European quality standards in Higher Education: These are present in all the activities of the Foundation when deploying its entrusted competencies. Thus they are also applicable to the principles of the Internal Quality Management System itself.
