Silbia y Emilio:

Pluto’s orbit is unpredictable. Our solar system’s planets all orbit the sun in a relatively flat plane. Pluto, on the other hand, orbits the sun at an inclination of 17 degrees to this plane. Furthermore, its orbit is extremely eccentric and crosses that of Neptune.
Pluto is round and round the sun, but its orbit overlaps that of Neptune, preventing it from meeting the criteria. According to resolution opponents, other planets in the solar system, including Earth, have not cleared the region around their orbits. Earth, for example, regularly collides with asteroids in and around its orbit.
