Nuevas Oportunidades para Investigadores – COFUND ASSISTID IRLANDA

ASSISTID, the €9M research programme in Assistive Technologies for Intellectual Disability and Autism, is co-funded by the European Commission FP7 Marie Curie Actions and the Irish charity RESPECT.  The first call for fellowships is now open and we wish to attract top quality international fellows from a broad range of disciplines including behaviour analysis, rehabilitation, computer science, policy, ethics and augmentative and alternative communication.

ASSISTID is the largest programme of its kind in Europe and will train experienced researchers in the skills necessary to make a difference in the lives of people with autism and intellectual disability through improved communication, social inclusion and education. This is the first time a network of multidisciplinary researchers have come together on this scale to develop assistive technologies for those with autism and ID and is a fantastic opportunity for researchers to advance their career through expert training and international mobility.
