3ª Convocatoria para post-doc ASSISTID

ASSISTID Call 3 with a Deadline of 30th June 2016.  The review process for proposals received from now until this date will have 2 stages, firstly, proposals received before 28th February 2016 will be reviewed in March/April and interviews will take place in May 2016, secondly, proposals received up to 30th June will be reviewed in July/August with interviews in September 2016.

NB: This Call is only open to Incoming Fellows

Calls are open to researchers from a wide range of disciplines including behavioural and social sciences , computer science and engineering.

Proposals must have an aspect of technology in them-however this does not have to be the development of a new or novel technology, it can be the assessment or adaptation of an existing technology within a new user group or scenario.

The ASSISTID programme which will fund 40 post-doctoral fellows is co-funded by the European Commission and the charity RESPECT, and is coordinated by the DOCTRID Research Institute. The DOCTRID Research Institute includes the Daughters of Charity Disability Support Services, all of the universities on the island of Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and the US universities Michigan State University and the University of Massachusetts. This is the first time that all of the universities on the island of Ireland have joined together in an EU funded research consortium.Through DOCTRID and the EU Marie Curie ASSISTID programme, Ireland will become a major international hub for assistive technology research and its applications for people with intellectual disability or autism.
