The “Genetics of lipid metabolism disorders” Research Group at Aragon Institute of Health Sciences (I+CS), Spain, is looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to apply for a Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowship (IEF).
The main research will focus in the genetics of lipid metabolism disorders, as well as in the genetics, metabolism and markers of lysosomal storage
diseases:
- To identify and characterize genetic markers associated to coronary heart disease and lipid metabolism disorders including genetic variants in gene enhancers/promoters as well as miRNAs.
-Molecular bases of lysosomal storage disorders (Gaucher, Fabry, Niemann-Pick C and A/B): genotype/phenotype relationship, misfolding/mistraffickingof mutated proteins and chaperon molecules.
The postdoctoral researcher must have at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience and not have lived/worked in Spain for more than 12 months in the last 3 years.
Marie Curie Intra-European Fellowships (IEF) offer a 2-year contract. The call deadline is 16th August 2012.
