After identifying the five big forces that, according
with the author, have affected the Spanish University in the last twenty
five years (foreign opening, university-firm connection, teaching and
researching integration, exposure to competition, and institutional
reorganisation) and today’s new forces of change (new opportunities
generated by the technologies of the information society, new professions
and new composition job/education), Antonio Pulido proposes his own
answers to face these forces and to definitively stimulate teaching and
researching.
