Over the last years, studies that advance in the
development of new organizational forms for companies competing in
innovative environments have proliferated. Different factors -such as
globalization, spreading of new technologies and uncertainty inherent to
these phenomenons- have contributed to the pointing out of the
obsolescence of traditional organizational forms and the need of change
for such structures by many authors in order to adapt them to the new
situation. Based on these premises, the authors aim to asnwer the
following question : Should innovative organizations adopt new
organizational forms as a necessary mechanism in order to adapt to the new
competitive conditions ?
