  If innovation has importance in daily management, is even more important when special circumstances alter the preexisting competitive conditions. In this sense, after a strong growth in Tourism Industry, September 11th events were an inflextion point with negative rates in all environments.

Facing these issues, Europe, and specifically Spain, is compelled to formulate innovative strategies in Tourism products and services. The aim is to attain the growth rates forecasted before September 11th.

This paper shows an analysis on the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) innovations within hotels. The aim is to obtain a deep understanding of the main variables guiding its implementation. Empirical analysis results show that the critical variables of the technological innovation are the level and integration of the hotel.
