A Theoretical Framework for the Innovation-Organizational Size Relationship

In constrant to the environmental tendence towards growth, in the developed economies SMEs (Small and Medium Entreprise) are pervasive. So, the relationship between firm size and success in innovation adoption. This article look over the reseach on this relationship. There is a huge amount of research on the issue, but a lack of agreement on the link's magnitude and intensity persists. So, the conclussions have a limited scope. This is a challenging result for further research aimed to the understanding of the heterogeneities shown, as well as to their integration.

Knowledge management and strategy

The purpose of this article is to analyse the importance of the new knowledge management techniques as a key strategic resource for organization competitiveness. As a follow, the knowledge management is analysed within the organizational strategic process giving special attention at the knowledge process. Finally it is proposed the creation of a knowledge network of cities. In fact, a project is already started supported by the ERDF through its programme INTERREG IIIA, whose results and final reports must be submitted in the first moths of 2005.

Assessing the Researchers and Postdoctoral Training Scholarships of the Madrid Autonomous Region

This brief article show the main results of a research competitive project granted by the Research Directorate-Education Ministry of the Madrid Regional Government. Its objective was to analyze the users (scholarships holders, and tutors) appraisal of the pre and postdoc scholarships.
