Artificial Intelligence Techniques applied to the Decision Making in the Network Firm

This is a possible application of a methodology based on several AI Techniques (neuronal networks, blurred logic, techniques developed from ant behavior analysis) to the decision making in the network firm. The goal is to attain the maximization value of the used links, as well as the optimum site usability.

TALENT SCOUT PROJECT: An supporting initiative for European SMEs and Biotech Research Groups

Talent Scout is a three-year long project, supported by the European Commission, aimed to the development of some co-ordinated actions for SMEs and Biotech Research Groups. Eight highly qualified institutions provide advice for those actions. The objective is to boost participation (and benefits) in the biotech innovative processes within the 6th European Commission Framework Programme.

The New Constitution for Europe: R&D and Innovation

Next February 20th, the Spanish government will put under referendum the ratification of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for Europe by the Spanish State. It is needed a historical analysis to understand the meaning of the constitutional text. The Constitution for Europe has a deep impact on R&D, as well as on innovation issues. The legal recognition of the European Research Area, and the constitutional mandate for space research, are two aspects of paramount importance.

The Doctors’ Recruitment Action. Action (DRA, Incorporación de Doctores a Empresas, IDE): an efficient discovery for firms and doctors.

The DRA / IDE Action was the first large public initiative aimed to the recruitment of highly qualified people in research and technological innovation for the private sector. The main result, as this article shows following an assessment started in 2003, is the enrolment of highly efficient people with goods innovation results. These skilled professionals have a large learning potential. They show also initiative, organizational capabilities, and an enormous responsibility towards its duties.
