An aproximation to the evolution and demographic characterisitics of the population of Madrid during the XVI century
This article presents the results of differents researches, mainly quantitative, that the author has realized over the evolution of the population of Madrid during the XVI century. The goal is to offer in an original way a chronologique series that reflects the number of inhabitants that Madrid has had in this period. The results obtained show some differences, importants in certain cases, with other studies realized over the main topic.Our proposal is based in investigations developped using ancient sources of information belonging to different ages, and from them we have been able to extract and integrate, in a logical manner, diverse data an information over the evolution of the population of Madrid in the XVI century.
