Este apoyo no pod\u00eda ser interesado, y ya se pudo leer pocosd\u00edas m\u00e1s tarde (en <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revie.org\/clientuploads\/entrevistas\/bol_ee183_entrevista.pdf\">esteart\u00edculo<\/a> cr\u00edtico art\u00edculo de El Pa\u00eds, ya recogido en <a href=\"..\/..\/ciencianuclear\/archive\/2009\/10\/28\/127725.aspx\">esteotro post<\/a> del sistema madrimasd) que las inversiones en I+D+i se iban adesviar sospechosamente hacia el Pa\u00eds Vasco, que precisamente es la regi\u00f3n enEspa\u00f1a con mayor gasto porcentual (v\u00e9ase por ejemplo <a href=\"http:\/\/www.revie.org\/clientuploads\/entrevistas\/bol_ee183_entrevista.pdf\">estaentrevista<\/a>) en estas latitudes cient\u00edficas.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">Hoy meentero, a trav\u00e9s del<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fecyt.es\/fecyt\/detalle.do?elegidaSiguiente=&amp;elegidaNivel3=&amp;elegidaNivel2=;SalaPrensa;noticias32cientificas&amp;elegidaNivel1=;SalaPrensa&amp;tc=noticias_cientificas&amp;id=177390\">bolet\u00edn de FECYT<\/a>, que <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">el MICINN va adestinar 7 millones de euros <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">al Basque Culinary Center, que contar\u00e1 con otros diez millones y picoaportados por instituciones privadas y p\u00fablicas del Pa\u00eds Vasco. Las actividadesse dividir\u00e1n entre una Facultad de Ciencias Gastron\u00f3micas, adscrita a launiversidad de Mondrag\u00f3n, y un Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n en CienciasGastron\u00f3micas.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">La cosaest\u00e1 bastante avanzada, porque, como puede verse aqu\u00ed debajo, se ya se haadjudicado el<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bculinary.com\/proyectos.php\"> proyecto ganadordel concurso<\/a>. Parece ser que el edificio recuerda a un mont\u00f3n de platosapilados, y que \u00e9sa ha sido una de las mejores razones para la adjudicaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bculinary.com\/irudiak\/bcc_imagen_08.jpg\" width=\"461\" height=\"187\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">A m\u00edpersonalmente me gusta<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bculinary.com\/info.php?id=2\"> Baleakal Pil Pil<\/a>, y seg\u00fan voy bajando y abriendo presentaciones\u2026 voy estando m\u00e1sy m\u00e1s confuso, sobre todo por los lemas que han elegido los arquitectos. A\u00fanas\u00ed, persiste la sensaci\u00f3n de que el ganador ha vencido gracias a una excelentemaqueta, y no mucho m\u00e1s.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">Y eso deque son platos apilados\u2026 me recuerda a lo que dice mi padre sobre el t\u00e9rmino\u201csostenibilidad\u201d aplicado a la arquitectura: que es una palabra est\u00fapida que nosignifica nada, porque la arquitectura tiene como exigencia m\u00ednima e inmemorialque las cosas construidas se sostengan y sobrevivan a sus creadores. En fin, elesp\u00edritu de los tiempos\u2026<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">Tendremosque poner buena cara y dar por sentado que esto es <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">una buena noticia<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> (y desde luego, tiene aspectos netamente positivos). Laexcelencia en esta \u00e1rea queda asegurada para muchos a\u00f1os, y podr\u00e1 difundirsedesde el CBB hacia otras cotas: el <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">turismode calidad<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> ya esposible gracias a las futuras hornadas de <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">cocineros\/inventores<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">, se investigar\u00e1n<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> avances tecnol\u00f3gicos<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> de inmediata aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica que no existan enotros lugares, la <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">diet\u00e9tica<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> rigurosa llegar\u00e1 a todas partes, seremosm\u00e1s sanos y m\u00e1s delgados, y Espa\u00f1a (o m\u00e1s bien, el Pa\u00eds Vasco) ser\u00e1 una <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">referencia mundial<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> inevitable en lo que a gastronom\u00eda se refiere.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">Esperemos,tan s\u00f3lo, que no se reproduzcan nuestros<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">problemas cong\u00e9nitos<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">: endogamiainvestigadora y productiva, est\u00e1ndares de calidad que decrecen de manerainversamente proporcional a la autonom\u00eda universitaria, exigencias de negocio yorientaci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica absolutamente desparejadas\u2026<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">\u00a1Ah! Yotra cosa\u2026 si los spin-offs espa\u00f1oles van a ser restaurantes de gama alta\u2026 \u00bfnose copar\u00e1 el mercado en cuanto el centro lleve abierto diez a\u00f1itos?<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\">Larespuesta a esto, y en eso s\u00ed que creo que el BCC puede ser muy interesante, esque <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">se atraer\u00e1 talento<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: normal;\"> de fuera, y se difundir\u00e1 la imagendel centro en el resto de Europa, e incluso en los Estados Unidos. Lo quetendr\u00eda que exigir el MICINN es que el BCC genere beneficios, patentes, ydevuelva las cantidades invertidas.
