A finales de junio, el Centro de Astrobiolog\u00eda (CAB, CSIC-INTA) entreg\u00f3 a JPL su contribuci\u00f3n: el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crisa.es\/news\/twinsE.htm\" target=\"_blank\">instrumento TWINS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La pr\u00f3xima misi\u00f3n de la NASA para Marte, InSight (<a href=\"http:\/\/insight.jpl.nasa.gov\/home.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Interior Exploration Using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport<\/a>, Exploraci\u00f3n Interior Usando Investigaciones S\u00edsmicas, Geodesia y Transporte Cal\u00f3rico), pretende estudiar el interior marciano. Su objetivo estrat\u00e9gico consiste en proporcionar informaci\u00f3n que servir\u00e1 de ayuda para cuando, en la d\u00e9cada de 2030, la agencia intente enviar una misi\u00f3n humana a Marte.<\/p>\n<p>En mayo pasado InSight super\u00f3 con \u00e9xito una Revisi\u00f3n Cr\u00edtica de Dise\u00f1o lo que supon\u00eda la aprobaci\u00f3n definitiva de la misi\u00f3n. En ese momento NASA y todos sus socios internacionales, entre los que se encuentra el Centro de Astrobiolog\u00eda (CAB, CSIC-INTA), iniciaron la construcci\u00f3n de todos los sistemas e instrumentos que ir\u00e1n a bordo del nuevo explorador de Marte que ser\u00e1 lanzado en 2016. Gracias a que part\u00eda con ventaja, el CAB hizo entrega a JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadera) a finales de junio del instrumento TWINS, su contribuci\u00f3n, en esta misi\u00f3n.
