Junto al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.astro.caltech.edu\/palomar\/sot.html\" target=\"blank\">telescopio de 48 pulgadas del Observatorio de Palomar<\/a> o al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aao.gov.au\/\" target=\"blank\">Observatorio de Siding Spring<\/a>, ha representado para m\u00ed el telescopio por antonomasia. Haberlo visto ahora en directo ha sido, verdaderamente, impresionante. <\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">Hace un par de semanas asist\u00ed en la ciudad de Jena, en la antigua Rep\u00fablica Democr\u00e1tica de Alemania, a una reuni\u00f3n sobre NAHUAL, el espectr\u00f3grafo infrarrojo de alta resoluci\u00f3n para el telescopio espa\u00f1ol de 10 metros.&nbsp; A unos tres kil\u00f3metros de esa ciudad se encuentra el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tls-tautenburg.de\/tls_telescope.html\" target=\"blank\"> observatorio de Tautenburg<\/a>, y all\u00ed nos llevaron una tarde para mostrarnos este excepcional telescopio. <\/div>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tls-tautenburg.de\/tls_telescope.html\" target=\"blank\"> <\/a><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/laeff.inta.es\/users\/barrado\/weblog\/Tautenburg.jpg\" width=\"450\"><br \/><i>El telescopio de 2 metros del observatoriode&nbsp; Tautenburg, cerca de la ciudad alemana de Jena.<br \/> <\/i><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">El espejo primario tiene un di\u00e1metro de dos metros. Peque\u00f1o para los est\u00e1ndares de la actualidad. Sin embargo, cuando el telescopio se pone en posici\u00f3n horizontal, una persona puede caminar totalmente erguida por su interior. La&nbsp; placa correctora, situada en el frontal del telescopio, es de 1,34 metros, la m\u00e1s grande hecha jam\u00e1s.
