SMART-1 ha dispuesto de un innovador sistema de propulsi\u00f3n basado en un motor el\u00e9ctrico que expulsaba iones del gas xen\u00f3n. Mediante su uso, ha sido capaz de recorrer 100 millones de kil\u00f3metros en una trayectoria espiral con solo 60 litros de este combustible, en un viaje que dur\u00f3 14 meses.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/laeff.inta.es\/users\/barrado\/weblog\/Moon_SMART1.hr.jpg\" width=\"450\"><br \/>Impresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica de la sonda SMART-1 (cr\u00e9dito ESA)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/laeff.inta.es\/users\/barrado\/weblog\/Moon_SMART1_FarSide.hr.jpeg\" width=\"450\"><br \/>Una im\u00e1gen en alta resoluci\u00f3n tomada a varios cr\u00e1teres presentes en la cara oculta de la Luna (cr\u00e9dito ESA).<\/p>\n<p> El impacto, que ocurrir\u00e1 previsiblemente a las 5:41 horas (Tiempo Universal), ser\u00e1 visible incluso con un peque\u00f1o telescopio.
