Aunque los cient\u00edficos dedicamos gran parte de nuestro tiempo a la clasificaci\u00f3n, no suele estar siempre claro. En caso de los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Research-Brown%20Dwarfs-BD_esp-Exoplanetas\">planetas extrasolares<\/a>, la situaci\u00f3n es, verdaderamente, confusa.<\/p>\n<p>  <!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"justify\">Durante a\u00f1os se supon\u00eda que, de existir alg\u00fan&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Research-Brown%20Dwarfs-BD_esp\"> sistema planetario&nbsp;<\/a> alrededor de otra estrella, \u00e9sta ser\u00eda muy similar al <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Research-Stellar%20Physics-The%20Sun\">Sol<\/a>, y tanto la jerarqu\u00eda como las masas y propiedades de sus planetas ser\u00edan semejantes a las que encontramos en el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar\">Sistema Solar<\/a>, con planetas de tipo terrestre (esencialmente rocosos) y otros similares a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-J%FApiter\">J\u00fapiter<\/a> (mucho m\u00e1s masivos y gaseosos).<o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"justify\">Sin embargo, con el descubrimiento de, a d\u00eda de hoy, <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/catalog.php\">246 planetas en m\u00e1s de 200 sistemas planetario<\/a>s, se puede decir que una palabra describe las propiedades b\u00e1sicas: <b>diversidad<\/b>.<span style=\"\">&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>Y dentro de esa diversidad, est\u00e1n los <b>extremos<\/b>, los planetas que se salen de toda norma, que van mucho<A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/archive\/2006\/10\/13\/46076.aspx\"> m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo que la imaginaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda sugerir<\/a>. <\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">        <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"justify\">En realidad la situaci\u00f3n no es tan compleja. Si miramos a los componentes del Sistema Solar e incluimos tambi\u00e9n a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Research-Brown%20Dwarfs-BD_esp\">planetas enanos<\/a> y a los sat\u00e9lites, nos percataremos que muchos de esos extremos est\u00e1n cerca, son nuestros vecinos: Incluso habitamos en un de ellos. Veamos algunos ejemplos:<o:p><br \/><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">I<b style=\"\">) Propiedades f\u00edsicas:<o:p><\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=CoRoT-Exo-1\" target=\"_blank\">CoRoT-Exo-1<\/a>&nbsp;b, el planeta de mayor tama\u00f1o.<o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=PSR+1257%2B12\" target=\"_blank\">PSR 1257+12<\/a>&nbsp;b, el planeta<span style=\"\">&nbsp; <\/span>de menor masa. O <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Mercurio\">Mercurio<\/a>, dentro del Sistema Solar y de masa comparable a aqu\u00e9l.<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-La%20Tierra\"><st1:personname productid=\"La Tierra\" w:st=\"on\">La Tierra<\/st1:personname><\/a> por la alta densidad. Dentro de los muy densos se encuentra &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=XO-3\" target=\"_blank\">XO-3<\/a>&nbsp;b<o:p>.&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Saturno\">Saturno<\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Marte\">Marte<\/a> por su forma.<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por su composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica, destacan <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-J%FApiter\">J\u00fapiter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Mercurio\">Mercurio<\/a>, &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=HD+149026\" target=\"_blank\">HD 149026<\/a>&nbsp;b. Dentro de este grupo se encuentran <span style=\"\">&nbsp;<\/span>sat\u00e9lites de <st1:personname productid=\"La Tierra\" w:st=\"on\">la Tierra<\/st1:personname> y Saturno. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-La%20Tierra-Luna\"><st1:personname productid=\"La Luna\" w:st=\"on\">La Luna<\/st1:personname><\/a>, por su carencia de agua, y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Saturno-Sat%E9lites-Tetis\">Tetis<\/a>, por la gran cantidad de este compuesto qu\u00edmico.<o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">    <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por su temperatura superficial, &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=HD+149026\" target=\"_blank\">HD 149026<\/a>&nbsp;b, unos 2000 grados kelvin.<o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><b style=\"\">II) Propiedades din\u00e1micas:<o:p><\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por su \u00f3rbita, Neptuno, <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=OGLE-TR-56\" target=\"_blank\">OGLE-TR-56<\/a>&nbsp;b y <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=HD+80606\" target=\"_blank\">HD 80606<\/a>&nbsp;b<span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><o:p>.&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por su rotaci\u00f3n,<span style=\"\">&nbsp; <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-J%FApiter\">J\u00fapiter<\/a> y <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Venus\">Venus.<\/a><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><b style=\"\">III) Configuraci\u00f3n del sistema planetario:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Complejidad del sistema planetario. Despu\u00e9s del Sistema Solar,&nbsp; el correspondiente a <A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/archive\/2007\/11\/07\/78225.aspx\">55 CnC, con 5 exoplanetas<\/a>.<br \/><b style=\"\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">El planeta enano <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Plut%F3n\">Plut\u00f3n<\/a>, junto con su sat\u00e9lite <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Education-Outreach-Sistema%20Solar-Plut%F3n-Sat%E9lite\">Caronte<\/a>, por ser pr\u00e1cticamente gemelos, de masa equiparable.<br \/><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por la estrella hu\u00e9sped: <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=PSR+1257%2B12\" target=\"_blank\">PSR 1257+12<\/a>&nbsp;b (una <a href=\"http:\/\/chandra.harvard.edu\/photo\/2007\/cirx1\/\">estrella de neutrones<\/a>),&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=GJ+317\" target=\"_blank\">GJ 317<\/a>&nbsp; (m\u00ednima masa, estimada en<span style=\"\">&nbsp; <\/span>0.25 masas solares), &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=eps+Tau\" target=\"_blank\">Epsilon Tau<\/a>&nbsp; (m\u00e1xima masa, unas 2.7 masas solares)<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\">Por el entorno, <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=PSR+B1620-26\" target=\"_blank\">PSR B1620-26<\/a> (una estrella de neutrones) localizado en un <A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/gallery\/427.aspx\">c\u00famulo globular<\/a> con cientos o miles de estrellas.<o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoPlainText\" align=\"justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/star.php?st=2M1207\" target=\"_blank\">2M1207<\/a>&nbsp;b, por la diferencia de masa entre la componente central (una <a href=\"http:\/\/www.laeff.inta.es\/?op=modload&amp;name=phpWiki&amp;file=index&amp;pagename=Research-Brown%20Dwarfs-BD_esp-BD2\">enana marr\u00f3n<\/a>) y el planeta, veinte masas jovianas frente a cinco. Adem\u00e1s, el planeta orbita a 46 unidades astron\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">      <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"justify\">Finalmente, <A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/archive\/2007\/05\/15\/65600.aspx\">LOri167<\/a> b, si se confirma su asociaci\u00f3n (la Cabeza de Ori\u00f3n), por su distancia a la enana marr\u00f3n central, unas 2000 unidades astron\u00f3micas.<o:p> <br \/><\/o:p><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">  <\/div>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" align=\"justify\">Por supuesto, los records se baten con facilidad.
