Un verdadero sistema planetario, con objetos cuya masa va desde&nbsp; un s\u00e9ptimo en el caso de <a href=\"http:\/\/exoplanet.eu\/planet.php?p1=55+Cnc&amp;p2=f\">55 Cnc f<\/a> (esto es, 45 veces la masa de la Tierra) hasta 4 veces la masa de J\u00fapiter.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div align=\"justify\">Las \u00f3rbitas se encuentran entre 5 unidades astron\u00f3micas (similar a la de J\u00fapiter) hasta 0.038 UA, muy cerca de la estrella central. Mercurio, el planeta m\u00e1s pr\u00f3ximo al Sol, se encuentra a 0.387 UA. La Tierra, por definici\u00f3n, est\u00e1 a una unidad astron\u00f3mica. Los datos espectrosc\u00f3picos que han permitido el descubrimiento de estros cinco planetas han sido tomados a lo largo de los \u00faltimos 18 a\u00f1os. Todo un ejercicio de <A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/archive\/2006\/06\/26\/32954.aspx\">paciencia astron\u00f3mica<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/tempuri.org\/tempuri.html\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Se trata, por tanto, de un verdadero an\u00e1logo del Sistema Solar. Eso implica que en realidad solo se conocen los l\u00edmites inferiores de las masas, ya que no se conocen los \u00e1ngulos de inclinaci\u00f3n de las \u00f3rbitas respecto a la l\u00ednea de visi\u00f3n. Cuando los exoplanetas cruzan el disco de la estrella central (produciendo un eclipse o <A href=\"http:\/\/weblogs.madrimasd.org\/astrofisica\/archive\/2007\/01\/04\/56522.aspx\">tr\u00e1nsito<\/a>), s\u00ed se pueden determinar todos los par\u00e1metros con precisi\u00f3n, incluyendo los radios.
