Pero, bueno, personalmente albergaba alguna esperanza. Por ello, comienzo mostrando mi desilusi\u00f3n, disgusto e incomprensi\u00f3n por la consideraci\u00f3n que ha recibido de la academia sueca organizadora de los Premios Nobel nuestro compa\u00f1ero, el microbi\u00f3logo y bi\u00f3logo molecular, <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Francisco_Juan_Mart%C3%ADnez_Mojica\">Francisco Mojica<\/a>, profesor de la Universidad de Alicante y descubridor del mecanismo de protecci\u00f3n bacteriano frente a infecciones v\u00edricas que \u00e9l mismo acu\u00f1\u00f3 con el nombre de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/CRISPR\">CRISPR<\/a>, acr\u00f3nimo, en ingl\u00e9s de \u201crepeticiones palindr\u00f3micas cortas agrupadas y regularmente interespaciadas\u201d. Hasta cinco nombres sonaban para esa distinci\u00f3n\u2026 Al final, solo lo han conseguido dos, merecidamente, dicho sea de paso: la bioqu\u00edmica estadounidense <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/chemistry\/2020\/prize-announcement\/\">Jennifer Doudna y la profesora e investigadora francesa en microbiolog\u00eda, gen\u00e9tica y bioqu\u00edmica Emmanuelle Charpentier, ganadoras, ambas, del Nobel de Qu\u00edmica 2020<\/a>. Ha quedado una plaza, por as\u00ed decirlo, vacante, que bien se habr\u00eda merecido nuestro cient\u00edfico espa\u00f1ol\u2026 Nada, seguimos con el Nobel 100% espa\u00f1ol de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/medicine\/1906\/cajal\/facts\/\">Ram\u00f3n y Cajal<\/a>, de 1906 y el emocionalmente espa\u00f1ol de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/medicine\/1959\/ochoa\/biographical\/\">Severo Ochoa<\/a>, de 1959. Al margen de la poca inversi\u00f3n que nuestro pa\u00eds hace en investigaci\u00f3n, creo que, al menos en esta ocasi\u00f3n, la academia sueca podr\u00eda haber sido algo m\u00e1s generosa con nuestra ciencia\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nobelprize.org\/prizes\/chemistry\/2020\/summary\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\"
