One concept of the Network is the strong collaboration between dry and wet laboratories, which cycle data between computational predictions and experimental validations. Elucidating the cell cycle system functioning by enabling wide integration of computational approaches in system biology is one of the joint research applications in the ENFIN project.

This workshop on Systems Biology Approaches to Study the Cell Cycle is organized by the ENFIN Network of Excellence, and will also include presentations of the work from the MitoCheck and Diamonds project, and other key researchers who will present strategies to assess methods in the field of Systems Biology specially addressed to cell cycle studies.

– ENFIN: Experimental Network for Functional Integration. http://www.enfin.org

– MitoCheck: Regulation of mitosis by phosphorylation – a combined functional genomics, proteomics and chemical biology approach. http://www.mitocheck.org

– DIAMONDS: Dedicated Integration and Modelling of Novel Data and prior knowledge to enable Systems biology. http://www.sbcellcycle.org/main.htm

SPEAKERS AND PROGRAM

Day 1: Oct 20th

– Erich Nigg.
