We shall, also, presently see that the tail is a highly useful prehensile organ to some of the species; and its use would be much influence by its length.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Merecer\u00e1 la pena aclarar con ejemplos algunas de las observaciones anteriores. Como Bronn cita la longitud de las orejas y de la cola en las diferentes especies de ratones como ejemplos, aunque insignificantes, de diferencias de conformaci\u00f3n que no pueden ser de utilidad especial alguna, debo recordar que, seg\u00fan el doctor Sch\u00f6bl, las orejas del rat\u00f3n com\u00fan est\u00e1n extraordinariamente provistas de nervios, de manera que indudablemente sirven como \u00f3rganos t\u00e1ctiles, y, por consiguiente, la longitud de las orejas es dif\u00edcil que pueda carecer por completo de importancia. Veremos luego, adem\u00e1s, que la cola es un \u00f3rgano prensil util\u00edsimo a algunas especies, y su longitud tiene que influir mucho en su utilidad.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lectura aconsejada:<\/p>\n
