Nor is it surprising that the facility of effecting a first cross, and the fertility of the hybrids thus produced, and the capacity of being grafted together\u2014though this latter capacity evidently depends on widely different circumstances\u2014should all run, to a certain extent, parallel with the systematic affinity of the forms subjected to experiment; for systematic affinity includes resemblances of all kinds.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>No es sorprendente que la dificultad de cruzar dos especies y la esterilidad de su descendencia h\u00edbrida se correspondan en la mayor parte de los casos, aun cuando se deban a causas distintas; pues ambas dependen del grado de diferencia entre las especies cruzadas.
