El pasado jueves 28 de mayo el Parlamento Europeo y el Consejo llegaron a un acuerdo sobre el principal componente de este plan de inversiones: el Fondo Europeo para Inversiones Estrat\u00e9gicas (EFSI). Con este acuerdo, se espera\u00a0 que la primera financiaci\u00f3n destinada a las PYMEs de EFSI est\u00e9 disponible antes del verano.<\/p>\n<p>El Fondo Europeo para Inversiones Estrat\u00e9gicas, gestionado\u00a0 por el Banco Europeo de Inversiones (BEI) y cofinanciado por el BEI y la Comisi\u00f3n Europea, financiar\u00e1 proyectos estrat\u00e9gicos en toda la UE de infraestructuras como las de banda ancha, energ\u00eda y transportes; de educaci\u00f3n, investigaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n; de energ\u00edas renovables y eficiencia energ\u00e9tica.
