font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: medium;\">La organizaci\u00f3n de esta conferencia se inspir\u00f3 en las tendencias observadas en el campo de la cat\u00e1lisis heterog\u00e9nea en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os. Las investigaciones van m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las aplicaciones tradicionales en reactores industriales y se expanden a nuevas \u00e1reas, como la salud, el medioambiente o la energ\u00eda. Los catalizadores emergentes operan en entornos no convencionales, como c\u00e9lulas vivas, l\u00edquidos i\u00f3nicos o fluidos supercr\u00edticos. Adem\u00e1s, se exploran m\u00e9todos no convencionales para la activaci\u00f3n selectiva del catalizador, como microondas, ultrasonidos o campos magn\u00e9ticos, reemplazando el calentamiento tradicional de reactores basado en la quema de combustibles f\u00f3siles. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La cat\u00e1lisis no convencional define un campo de investigaci\u00f3n en el que las colaboraciones interdisciplinares entre la cat\u00e1lisis cl\u00e1sica, la ingenier\u00eda qu\u00edmica y de materiales, la f\u00edsica, la tecnolog\u00eda energ\u00e9tica, la biolog\u00eda o la medicina desempe\u00f1an un papel central. El objetivo de esta conferencia fue reunir a representantes de esas disciplinas y proporcionar informaci\u00f3n sobre los \u00faltimos desarrollos realizados. La conferencia cubri\u00f3 una amplia selecci\u00f3n de temas, desde m\u00e9todos de s\u00edntesis de catalizadores no convencionales, formas novedosas de activar catalizadores, cat\u00e1lisis en entornos no convencionales o el dise\u00f1o de reactores adecuados para nuevas formas de inducir reacciones qu\u00edmicas.
