El acto cont\u00f3 con la presencia del Ministro de Educaci\u00f3n \u00c1ngel Gabilondo, el Secretario de Estado de Investigaci\u00f3n, Felipe P\u00e9triz, los Rectores de la UAM, UC3M y UCM, Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Sanz, Daniel Pe\u00f1a y Jos\u00e9 Carrillo, y el Presidente del CSIC, Rafael Rodrigo. La inauguraci\u00f3n de esta sede (que aloja tambi\u00e9n al Instituto de F\u00edsica Te\u00f3rica), cont\u00f3 con unos 300 asistentes.
