El Profesor Manin es un distinguido matem\u00e1tico, bien conocido por su trabajo en geometr\u00eda algebraica y geometr\u00eda diof\u00e1ntica. Sus campos de investigaci\u00f3n van desde la l\u00f3gica matem\u00e1tica hasta la f\u00edsica te\u00f3rica. En 2005 fue elegido profesor em\u00e9rito del Max Planck Institut f\u00fcr Mathematik (MPI) de Bonn, Alemania.
