La Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, F\u00edsicas y Naturales fue creada el 25 de febrero de 1847, aunque tiene sus antecedentes en la Academia Real Mathematica, fundada por Felipe II el 25 de diciembre de 1582, tras iniciativa del entonces Aposentador Mayor Juan de Herrera. La Real Academia tiene 54 acad\u00e9micos de n\u00famero, y la medalla que me corresponde es la n\u00famero 36.
