Cada uni\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, como en el caso dce IMU, tiene sus reglas para renovar su ejecutiva, no muy diferentes pero con sus peculariedades. En primer lugar, se solicita a las comisiones nacionales que sometan candidaturas a los diferentes cargos. Los llamados \u201cOfficers\u201d en ingl\u00e9s son el Presidente, los dos Vicepresidentes y el Secretario, a los que se a\u00f1aden seis vocales (\u201cMembers-at-Large\u201d).
