font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\" lang=\"ES\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: blue; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\" lang=\"ES\">La implantaci\u00f3n de una nueva vacuna en el calendario oficial de vacunaci\u00f3n ha de cumplir cuatro criterios preestablecidos<\/span><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\" lang=\"ES\">:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Comic Sans MS';\" lang=\"ES\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"margin-top: 0in;\" type=\"1\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><B><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">La vacuna es s\u00f3lo parcialmente eficaz, razonablemente segura y probablemente compatible con el resto.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/B><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><B><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">\u00bfPero cu\u00e1l es la importancia del c\u00e1ncer de cuello uterino en Espa\u00f1a?<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/B><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Los registros poblacionales de c\u00e1ncer espa\u00f1oles permiten estimar que se producen unos 2.000 nuevos casos anuales, con una <B>tasa de incidencia del orden de 7,5 nuevos casos por 100.000 mujeres y a\u00f1o, una de las m\u00e1s bajas del mundo.<\/B><o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">En cuanto a la mortalidad, en <B>2005 murieron en Espa\u00f1a 185.000 mujeres<\/B>; el 20% de ellas, unas 36.000, por alg\u00fan tipo de c\u00e1ncer, pero <B>apenas unas 600 por c\u00e1ncer de cuello de \u00fatero. Es decir, el 0,3% de todas las defunciones femeninas, aunque se estima que la cifra real ser\u00eda algo mayor, unas 735 muertes, o sea, el 0,4% del total. Afortunadamente, pues, la magnitud del problema es relativamente moderada.<o:p><\/o:p><\/B><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Disponer de nuevas vacunas es, sin duda, un progreso. Pero aplicarlas sin aquilatar pros y contras y sin tener en cuenta los efectos sobre el sistema sanitario supone un alto riesgo de frustrar las expectativas generadas por las nuevas vacunas, lo que disminuir\u00eda la credibilidad de la salud p\u00fablica. Algo demasiado importante como para ponerlo en juego de forma temeraria.<\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I>&nbsp;<\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Estos d\u00edas he recibido unos textos publicados por el profesor <B><A href=\"http:\/\/www.uam.es\/personal_pdi\/ciencias\/msandin\/\">M\u00e1ximo Sand\u00edn,<\/A> <SPAN style=\"COLOR: blue\">titular de Antropolog\u00eda Biol\u00f3gica en el Departamento de Biolog\u00eda de <\/SPAN><\/B><\/SPAN><x:namespace prefix = st1 \/><st1:personname productid=\"la Universidad Aut?noma\"><B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma<\/SPAN><\/B><\/st1:personname><B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"> de Madrid,<\/SPAN><\/B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"> que profundizan en este tema y que considero merece la pena leer y reflexionar sobre los mismos.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Uno de ellos:<SPAN> <\/SPAN><B><SPAN style=\"COLOR: blue\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.redcientifica.com\/doc\/doc200810280001.html\">papilomavirus: \u00bfPreparando la pr\u00f3xima pandemia?<\/A><\/SPAN><\/B> Comienza as\u00ed:<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"><BR><B><I><SPAN style=\"COLOR: blue\"><A href=\"http:\/\/www.semfyc.es\/pfw_files\/tpl\/revista\/octubre307\/opinionA.htm\">La Sociedad Espa\u00f1ola de Medicina de Familia y Comunitaria<\/A> ha denunciado la campa\u00f1a de vacunaci\u00f3n masiva contra el papilomavirus (mediante \u00ab<A href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gardasil\">Gardasil<\/A>\u00ab), por la escasa incidencia del c\u00e1ncer de cuello de \u00fatero en Espa\u00f1a, por el desconocimiento real de la eficacia de esta vacuna y de su seguridad y por su excesivo precio, habiendo otras prioridades.<\/SPAN><\/I><\/B><I><SPAN style=\"COLOR: blue\"> Pero el car\u00e1cter de virus end\u00f3geno del papilomavirus a\u00f1ade un nuevo y terrible factor de riesgo a estas cr\u00edticas. <o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN-LEFT: 35.4pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">En Estados Unidos, el registro p\u00fablico sobre los efectos adversos de las vacunas ha denunciado 4541 efectos secundarios de <A href=\"http:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gardasil\">Gardasil<\/A>, entre ellos 11 muertes y 82 reacciones con peligro para la vida. <o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal><B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Interesante \u00bfno?
