\u00bfIncorporamos el estudio de las <STRONG><FONT color=#008000>enfermedades no transmisibles<\/FONT><\/STRONG>, de <STRONG>la mortalidad<\/STRONG> y de <STRONG><FONT color=#0000ff>la discapacidad<\/FONT><\/STRONG> en nuestros sistemas de vigilancia?<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN>  <LI class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">\u00bf<FONT color=#ff0000><STRONG>Transmitimos <\/STRONG><\/FONT>con suficiente claridad a la poblaci\u00f3n los elementos del contexto social y pol\u00edtico que influyen sobre los indicadores de salud o bien contribuimos a dar una informaci\u00f3n descontextualizada socialmente?<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN>  <LI class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">\u00bfNos esforzamos por <FONT color=#ff0000><STRONG>coordinarnos<\/STRONG><\/FONT> con los profesionales e instituciones de nuestro territorio con intereses comunes en la salud de la comunidad (<STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>servicios sociales, educaci\u00f3n<\/FONT><\/STRONG>, etc.)?<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN>  <LI class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">\u00bfEstamos implicados en que esta informaci\u00f3n est\u00e9 orientada a su utilizaci\u00f3n en <FONT color=#ff0000><STRONG>pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de inter\u00e9s para la salud<\/STRONG><\/FONT> (educaci\u00f3n, servicios sociales, urbanismo, vivienda, empleo, etc.)?<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN>  <LI class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; TEXT-ALIGN: justify; tab-stops: list 36.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1\"><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt\">\u00bfNuestra informaci\u00f3n sirve para <FONT color=#ff0000><STRONG>evaluar el impacto en la salud<\/STRONG><\/FONT> de determinadas pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas?<\/SPAN><SPAN style=\"FONT-SIZE: 11pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt\"><o:p>&nbsp;<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/LI><\/UL> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\"><B><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#800080><\/FONT><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/B>&nbsp;<\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\"><B><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial><FONT color=#800080>Reflexiones finales. Replantear la acci\u00f3n, replantear el pensamiento.<o:p><\/o:p><\/FONT><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/B><\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\" align=justify><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial>Seg\u00fan algunos de sus padres fundadores<SUP>1<\/SUP>, la epidemiolog\u00eda de campo o aplicada del siglo XXI, para merecer su nombre, debe ir orientada a la <FONT color=#ff0000><STRONG>acci\u00f3n sobre los principales problemas de salud<\/STRONG><\/FONT> p\u00fablica, sobre la <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>reducci\u00f3n de las desigualdades sociales<\/FONT><\/STRONG>, tener una mayor consideraci\u00f3n de los <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>elementos psicosociales<\/FONT><\/STRONG> del proceso de enfermar, incorporar contenidos y m\u00e9todos de las <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>ciencias sociales<\/FONT><\/STRONG> y trabajar en <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>equipos multidisciplinarios<\/FONT><\/STRONG>. <\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\" align=justify><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial><\/FONT><\/SPAN>&nbsp;<\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\" align=justify><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial>Sin embargo, para conseguir estos fines, comunes con los de la epidemiolog\u00eda social, mediante la formaci\u00f3n basada en la pr\u00e1ctica, se necesita, obviamente, encontrar <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>espacios formativos<\/FONT><\/STRONG> (en la administraci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, en las universidades, etc.), cuya pr\u00e1ctica de salud p\u00fablica est\u00e9 orientada a estos fines. Mientras tengamos una <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>administraci\u00f3n burocratizada<\/FONT><\/STRONG> (no orientada al cambio, sino a la vigilancia \u201cde lo de siempre\u201d y \u201ccon los mismos m\u00e9todos\u201d), <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>insuficientemente comprometida<\/FONT><\/STRONG> con la sociedad y los m\u00e1s vulnerables, con plantillas profesionales casi exclusivamente <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>biom\u00e9dicas<\/FONT><\/STRONG>, no cumpliremos los objetivos ni de la epidemiolog\u00eda, ll\u00e1mese aplicada, social o simplemente epidemiolog\u00eda, ni de la Salud P\u00fablica<SUP>3<\/SUP>. <o:p><\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\" align=justify><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><o:p><FONT face=Arial>&nbsp;<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoBodyText3 style=\"MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 200%\" align=justify><SPAN style=\"mso-hide: none\"><FONT face=Arial>Por \u00faltimo, la formaci\u00f3n te\u00f3rica del epidemi\u00f3logo de campo debe <STRONG><FONT color=#ff0000>abrirse a otros campos epistemol\u00f3gicos<\/FONT><\/STRONG>, tanto en las estrategias de pensamiento como en las correspondientes metodolog\u00edas, para que el epidemi\u00f3logo pueda ir bien armado y enfrentarse eficazmente a la complejidad de su campo profesional.
