TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">El d\u00eda 24 de marzo se va a celebrar el \u201cD\u00eda Mundial de la Tuberculosis\u201d<\/SPAN><\/B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">, vaya por delante que tal y como est\u00e1n las cosas no hay mucho que celebrar, el descenso en la incidencia, prevalencia y mortalidad de esta enfermedad, que tuvo lugar tras la aparici\u00f3n de los antibi\u00f3ticos, dur\u00f3 m\u00e1s bien poco y con la aparici\u00f3n en escena del SIDA todo lo que se hab\u00eda adelantado se transform\u00f3 en un recrudecimiento de la enfermedad y en una dificultad cada vez mayor de encontrar un tratamiento curativo debido, entre otras cosas, a que la duraci\u00f3n del tratamiento es muy larga: 18-24 meses, llevando al incumplimiento de los tratamientos por parte de los enfermos, lo que condujo a la aparici\u00f3n de cepas multiresistentes al arsenal terap\u00e9utico habitual.<\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Esta enfermedad es muy interesante y todo lo que podamos saber de ella muy valioso por eso vamos a contar con unos colaboradores de excepci\u00f3n, que desde sus weblogs hablar\u00e1n de otros temas relacionados:<\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; <\/SPAN>renales, meningeas etc. La forma pulmonar es la m\u00e1s frecuente<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/SPAN>y pr\u00e1cticamente la \u00fanica contagiosa.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/B><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><B><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Histol\u00f3gicamente, se caracteriza por la formaci\u00f3n de granulomas.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/B><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">La tuberculosis es una enfermedad infecciosa tan antigua como la humanidad.<SPAN style=\"mso-tab-count: 1\">&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/SPAN><o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">Existen evidencias paleopatol\u00f3gicas de tuberculosis espinal en esqueletos del neol\u00edtico y precolombino y en restos del Antiguo Egipto. Los m\u00e9dicos griegos usaban el t\u00e9rmino phtisis para indicar su car\u00e1cter consuntivo. Sin embargo, \u00e9sta enfermedad no constituy\u00f3 un problema importante hasta que las condiciones de hacinamiento de la vida urbana de las primeras \u00e9pocas de la revoluci\u00f3n industrial crearon las circunstancias epidemiol\u00f3gicas favorables para su diseminaci\u00f3n.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify\"><I><SPAN lang=ES style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: blue; FONT-FAMILY: 'Comic Sans MS'\">En los siglos XVII y XVIII fue la causa de la cuarta parte de las muertes en adultos de Europa.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/I><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; En caso de que la radiograf\u00eda sea normal, es decir que no se aprecien lesiones compatibles con tuberculosis, y si la personas tiene<SPAN style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">&nbsp; <\/SPAN>menos de 35 a\u00f1os se recomienda la realizaci\u00f3n de quimioprofilaxis con isoniacida durante seis meses.<o:p><\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/P> <P class=MsoNormal style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt;
