Pero antes me deb\u00eda de terminar de leer la prensa cient\u00edfica, ya que llevaba varios d\u00edas de atraso. Y he te aqu\u00ed, que top\u00e9 con la siguiente nota de prensa de <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">Terradaily<\/span><\/b>: \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seeddaily.com\/reports\/Can_Organic_Cropping_Systems_Be_As_Profitable_As_Conventional_Systems_999.html\">Can Organic Cropping Systems Be As Profitable As Conventional Systems<\/a>?\u201d. Como ver\u00e9is m\u00e1s abajo, en la noticia original, se trataba de los <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">resultados <\/span><\/b>ofrecidos por<b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> dos estudios publicados<\/span><\/b> en la Revista norteamericana <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">Agronomy Journal<\/span><\/b>. Ya voy conociendo las estrategias de la prensa cient\u00edfica de aqu\u00e9l pa\u00eds a la hora de publicitar sus productos, por lo que inmediatamente busqu\u00e9 la p\u00e1gina Web de este \u201cJournal\u201d y\u2026\u2026 efectivamente,<b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> ambos <\/span><\/b>los hab\u00edan dejado <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">en acceso abierto<\/span><\/b>. Los autores <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">analizaron los beneficios para los agricultores<\/span><\/b> <span>&nbsp;<\/span><b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">de la agricultura org\u00e1nica frente a la industrial<\/span><\/b> (incluyendo productores de forrajes) haciendo uso de <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">varios escenarios econ\u00f3micos<\/span><\/b> posibles (y algunos de ellos vigentes). <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">La conclusi\u00f3n<\/span><\/b> a la que llegaron es <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">rotunda<\/span><\/b>. <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">En una sociedad sensibilizada<\/span><\/b> por el ambiente y a favor de la agricultura org\u00e1nica,<b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> los policultivos ofrecen ventajas econ\u00f3micas para sus productores, as\u00ed como menores riesgos<\/span><\/b>. Debe quedar bien claro que <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">no nos referimos<\/span><\/b> ni a la<b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> calidad de los productos<\/span><\/b> alimentarios, ni a los <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">beneficios ambientales<\/span><\/b>, <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">sino a los meramente econ\u00f3micos<\/span><\/b>. <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">Si valoramos pues todos estos aspectos simult\u00e1neamente<\/span><\/b>, uno debe llegar a la conclusi\u00f3n de que, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos, <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">los policultivos<\/span><\/b> (con bajos insumos de agroqu\u00edmicos contaminantes) <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">deber\u00edan desplazar a la agricultura industrial saliendo beneficiados<\/span><\/b> tanto los<b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> agricultores, <\/span><\/b>como los <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">consumidores y <span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/b>propia <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">biosfera<\/span><\/b> en detrimento de los rufianes de las multinacionales del tipo Monsanto. \u00bfAlguien ofrece m\u00e1s? De comprobarse debidamente los resultados ofrecidos en el Agronomy Journal, <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">no habr\u00eda excusas para ir reemplazando una agricultura productivista<\/span><\/b> industrial, no sustentable, <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">por otra diversificada, sostenible <\/span><\/b>y beneficiosa para el medio ambiente y el propio <b><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">paisaje<\/span><\/b>. Bueno pues ya lo sab\u00e9is y pod\u00e9is esgrimir estas <B><SPAN style=\"COLOR: rgb(51,102,255)\">razones cient\u00edficas<\/SPAN><\/B> (ambos art\u00edculos muestran referencias bibliogr\u00e1ficas de estudios previos que tambi\u00e9n segu\u00edan la misma direcci\u00f3n) tanto contra los ladrones de la agroindustria como frente a sus al\u00e1teres \u201c<B><SPAN style=\"COLOR: rgb(51,102,255)\">toca genes<\/SPAN><\/B>\u201d que abundan en exceso, en busca de fama y gloria. Vaya pues mi homenaje para <B><SPAN style=\"COLOR: rgb(51,102,255)\">Pedro Montserrat Recoder<\/SPAN><\/B>,<B><SPAN style=\"COLOR: rgb(51,102,255)\"> Masanobu Fukuoka<\/SPAN><\/B> y todos los pioneros que defendieron la naturaleza y la raz\u00f3n frente al imperio del capital.
