Como comentaba en nuestro \u00faltimo post: \u201c<a href=\"..\/universo\/archive\/2009\/10\/17\/126951.aspx\">Historia de la Ciencia, Racismo, Coeficiente Intelectual y el Tama\u00f1o del Cr\u00e1neo Humano<\/a>, la \u201ccraneometr\u00eda\u201d fue una \u201cdisciplina\u00bb muy popular durante el siglo XIX, <span style=\"\">&nbsp;<\/span>y aun, hoy en d\u00eda, ciertas corrientes de opini\u00f3n afirman que existe una correlaci\u00f3n entre el tama\u00f1o del cr\u00e1neo, el coeficiente intelectual (CI) y la inteligencia de las personas. \u201cHay gente pa t\u00f3\u201d. El otro d\u00eda, los organizadores de una <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soilgeography09.fciencias.unam.mx\/Conference.html\">Conferencia Internacional sobre Geograf\u00eda de Suelos<\/a>, que se celebrar\u00e1 en M\u00e9xico el mes que viene, nos solicitaban una informaci\u00f3n que me hizo re\u00edr a carcajadas. El requerimiento se encontraba que justificado, aunque al demandarlo de sopet\u00f3n resultaba un tanto extra\u00f1o. Vamos a re\u00edrnos hoy un poco. Hablo tal<b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> tama\u00f1o de<\/span><\/b> mi <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">cr\u00e1neo<\/span><\/b>, as\u00ed de las personas que me acompa\u00f1ar\u00edan en el viaje. <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">En este tipo de excursiones, los organizadores suelen regalar gorras <\/span><\/b>a los participantes, con vistas a prevenir insolaciones, u ofrecer cierta protecci\u00f3n frente a tormentas <span style=\"\">&nbsp;<\/span>eventuales. M\u00e1s aun,<b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\"> a menudo, el logo del evento es inscrito en tales prendas<\/span><\/b>. Como el e-mail se\u00f1ala, <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">se trataba de ajustar oferta y demanda<\/span><\/b>, al objeto de que no faltaran sombreros de los tama\u00f1os apropiados y sobraran de otros. Un detalle de previsi\u00f3n que no hab\u00eda escuchado con anterioridad. Como recordaba la mencionada pol\u00e9mica sobre el tama\u00f1o del cr\u00e1neo y la inteligencia de sus poseedores, le repliqu\u00e9 a Pavel en clave humor\u00edstica. <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">\u00c9l me contest\u00f3. Visto lo visto, haremos un an\u00e1lisis entre los participantes al evento. \u201c<b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">Primera craneometr\u00eda en el seno de la comunidad de edaf\u00f3logos<\/span><\/b>\u201d. Al menos lo voy a intentar. Dado que todav\u00eda algunos \u201cexpertos\u201d defienden que tal relaci\u00f3n \u201ccr\u00e1neo, CI, inteligencia\u201d es v\u00e1lida, y que como bien apunta Pavel, hay diferencias entre pa\u00edses (de formas de explicitar los tama\u00f1os, aunque tambi\u00e9n&#8230;.), los resultados <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">podr\u00e1n servir para que detectemos a los \u201ctalentosos\u201d en<\/span><\/b> nuestro \u00e1mbito del conocimiento. De este modo, la pr\u00f3xima vez, otorgaremos galardones e invitaremos a los conferenciantes sobre <b style=\"\"><span style=\"color: rgb(51, 102, 255);\">criterios \u201crigurosamente objetivos\u201d<\/span><\/b>. \u00bfQu\u00e9 f\u00e1cil ser\u00eda todo verdad?, me refiero para los cabezones como yo, aunque otros lo son aun m\u00e1s. \u00bfY el calzado?
