The kidneys are those that are largely forgotten in the study of the human body, but they carry out fundamental functions to keep the body in balance. They are in charge of recycling within our body. To do this, they filter waste substances from your blood and the pH of the body. Together we are going to make a model of a kidney to experimentally understand these processes: - Filtration: we will pass different solutions through specific sieves and filters. Thus, we will see how the kidney is able to filter the blood eliminating those substances that we do not need. - pH: By means of a pH indicator we will measure different samples to know if they are in an acceptable range of acidity.
