Nowadays, I am working as PhD Technician in the Microbial Ecology unit at IMDEA Water. I have always been interested in aquatic ecosystems, I have a degree in Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, I am a PhD in Water Science and Technology from Universitat de Girona and I have been working for years as research technician in aquatic technology in the CSIC and university. So, I specialized in the study of the structure and function of microbial communities as an indicator of environmental health.
Regarding my personal interests, I like art, reading, body building and spending time with my family. I really love to do these activities in the environment, principally on the beach.
