My research activity focuses on water and soil contamination. Specifically, I study the fate of contaminants in the environment from both urban and agricultural sources. Currently, my research lines are focused on contaminants of emerging concern such as micro-nanoplastics and on the application of nature-based solutions for wastewater treatment, maximizing their effectiveness through sustainable actions.
I love to discover new places and cultures, dance whatever is on and enjoy nature, especially the mountains.
