Collaborators

This is a collaborative workshop in which participants will be invited to elaborate their own definition of “coastline”. Next, the participating researchers will comment on each of these definitions from the point of view of the typology used by Roman jurists. Then, we will continue analyzing the iter that led Roman jurisprudence to elaborate a definition of litus maris. Finally, we will show the definitions of “coastline” offered by current law. The workshop will conclude by displaying some bibliographical treasures from the ancient books collection of the USPCEU library, in which the issue of the workshop is addressed.
