About me

Prof. Saiz López is currently Head of the Department of Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate at the Blas Cabrera Institute of Physical Chemistry (CSIC) and his research group combines theory, laboratory and field measurements, and global models to study fundamental and applied problems in atmospheric chemistry and climate. Prof. Saiz López focuses his scientific activity on the study of the chemistry of halogens (chlorine, bromine, iodine), sulfur and mercury in the Earth's atmosphere and that of other planets in our solar system, both now and in the past (atmospheric paleochemistry).
