About me

I’m an environmental engineer. I’m passionate about everything related to water, which is why I decided to specialize in this field by pursuing an International Master’s degree in Sustainable Water Management and Governance in Natural and Agricultural Environments. Currently, I work as a research assistant in the membrane technologies group at IMDEA WATER, which studies the entire life cycle of membranes from preparation to end-of-life and recycling. Our research focuses on the removal of different contaminants such as micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) and biological contaminants like virus preconcentration and detection. In my free time, I enjoy learning new languages and traveling to discover new places and cultures. I also love cooking and recycling things to give them new life.
