About me

For many years, as a technical architect and building engineer, I have worked building, but especially rehabilitating, historical buildings of the University itself. I am currently a tenured professor in the Department of Architecture at the University of Alcalá in the area of Architectural Constructions. The lines of research that I have been developing also have to do with the construction and rehabilitation of heritage. In these fields, innovative 3D scanning techniques offer new possibilities that we are also working on. In addition to my work, I really like literature, especially history, nature and also the rich historical heritage that we have in our towns and cities, going for a walk or by bike in the mountains, swimming or diving on the coast, are my main free time hobbies.
