My research lines focus on the development of electrodes for Li-ion batteries and carbon nanomaterials for application in supercapacitors, based on organic (COFs) and metal-organic (MOFs) crystalline networks. The preparation of these materials is carried out by solvothermal synthesis, microwave, reflux, among others. In order to understand the energy storage mechanisms, studies involving a complete structural/compositional and electrochemical characterisation are carried out in order to obtain the best performance of the materials. The aim of my work is to contribute with these materials to the conservation of the environment and the efficient use of energy.
