The visit will begin with an amusing introduction to explain what plant genomics is (spoiler alert: plants, like humans, also have DNA). Subsequently, there will be a visit to the laboratories and facilities of the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (UPM-CSIC) where the importance of genomics and its relevance for food production will be shown in a simple way, as well as how to make our diet healthier from sustainably produced food. There will be hands-on activities!
