About me

I am a professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Universidad San Pablo CEU. During my doctoral thesis I specialized in the neuropharmacology of drugs of abuse and during my post-doctoral phase in the molecular bases of neurodegenerative diseases. I have always been passionate about neuroscience, which has led me to investigate why a brain degenerates and what mechanisms we can modify to repair it. Outside of the lab and classroom, I am a vocational musician and enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends.
