Julio Díaz Galán is a Reader in Philosophical Anthropology at Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Doctor in Philosophy from the UNED (2006) and holds a degree in Philosophy from the Complutense University, he has been developing his professional and research activity at the European University for eleven years. Specialized in contemporary philosophy, his current lines of research are anthropology and ethics in today's communication societies. In addition to his teaching work, he has translated books on contemporary philosophy, from French, and participated in Research Projects at the UNED, the CSIC, as well as internal projects at the European University.

As a good epicure, he tries to build gardens and take care of them wherever he lands. He is aware that it is the plants that take care of us, years ago he completed an agricultural training that left him with more than just a hobby and years of work with the land behind him.
