Chemist specialized in Molecular Chemistry and Materials Chemistry, with a career path focused on research and development of new materials. He is currently working as a research assistant on the synthesis and characterisation of new Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) in the Advanced Porous Materials Unit at IMDEA Energía. These multidimensional crystalline materials are formed by the union of metal cations and organic ligands, and are currently being tested in a wide range of fields, such as treatment and decontamination of residual waters, catalysis or biomedical applications.
