Microchat. In the coming decades we will face an ageing population and Artificial Intelligence can help us to measure and distinguish natural ageing from pathological ageing. The latest in this field is BrainAge or Brain Age - yes, similar to the famous Nintendo Brain Age game! It is about quantifying the age of each person not based on their chronological age (the one on their ID card), but on the appearance of their brain in medical images. With these images and Artificial Intelligence we can warn of risks such as dementia, schizophrenia or even diabetes. The participating researcher is Jorge García Condado, from IIS Biobizkaia.
